Merry Christmas

Are any of you playing along with the VSN (virtual stamp night) over on SCS?  I have only had a chance to do one card so far.  The challenge is to stamp an image at least 3 times in a row to form a line (theme is from A Chorus Line musical).  I seriously need to make some Christmas cards, so I stamped this ornament 3 times and colored it in with Copic markers.  My inspiration came from a pack of My Minds Eye paper I picked up this week, its Christmasy and really pretty with a vintage feel to it.  After I stamped and colored the ornaments I cut them out.  I used a really small hole punch, to punch a hole on either side of the center ornament and ran some sheer ribbon through it and tied a knot.  I just felt I needed to put something there.  I really like this card, I thought it was in contention to be mass produced, but it didn't get my husbands nod of approval lol.  Well whether he likes it or not, this card will be sent to someone this year lol.

Oh and why am I up at 4 in the morning blogging you ask?  Hubby needed to open up the window to let fresh air in, plus its starting to cool in the evenings.  I wake up and smell something horrible.  I cannot for the life of me figure out what I am smelling.  So I go out to our patio and the smell hits me like a ton of bricks...SKUNK!!  I could not get in the house fast enough, it actually made my eyes water.  I think there must be a baby skunk around, their smell/spray is normally stronger or someone ran a skunk over very near by.  You have no idea how stinky it is, its making me sick to my stomach.  I just pray the smell doesn't wake up my kids or it will make for a very long Saturday.

Well I'm off to try and get back to sleep despite the smell.  Have a wonderful Saturday!
