Lawn Fawn: Happy Harvest

Hello there!
I know lots of you out there are sending your children off to school this week (and last), well in the south at least.  That means fall is right around the corner!  Living in Florida means summer kind of drags out to October, so fall here is just a few weeks.  But it truly is fantastic!  Warm days, cooler nights and no humidity.
Anyhow, fall means fall projects.  Like Halloween, back to school, Thanksgiving, celebrating the harvest!

Lawn Fawn is in the middle of August Inspiration Week, and everything has been fall themed.  Today is no different, as I am showcasing a stamp/die set called Happy Harvest.  Again don't hate me, I'm seriously addicted to this pillow box die, but I made a few pillow boxes using the Happy Harvest stamp set.
Make sure you head on over to the Lawn Fawn Blog, to see some fabulous projects by the design team, and for a chance to win this set!!

There are so many fun images in this set.  I couldn't decide on one project so I made two.  Both pillow boxes were created using Lawn Fawn pattern paper.  Then embellished using the Happy Harvest stamp/die set.  What is great about coordinating stamps/dies, is that you can stamp a bunch of images onto a sheet of paper, place the dies over the images, and diecut them all at once!  This really makes making cards. gifts, 3d items, that much easier.  The scarecrow was paper pieced, if you are wondering how that was created.  Paper piecing is when you stamp the image onto pattern paper, cut out the selected part, and adhere it to the image or diecut.  Its like customizing a paper doll.  Its a fun technique for sure!  The sunflowers and pumpkin were all colored in using Copic markers.  I added dimension to both projects by using 3d foam tape to lift up the images.

Lawn Fawn: Lets Polka In The Dark

One of the newest pattern paper collections from Lawn Fawn is now available, and its called Let's Polka In The Dark.  It has deep fall colors, like green, black, purple etc... Perfect for all of your Fall/Halloween/Thanksgiving projects!
Head on over to the Lawn Fawn Blog, where they are showing off this fun collection.  There are gifts, cards & scrapbook pages.  Plus you can comment to win a fabulous collection prize!

All of this week I have been using the Let's Polka In The Dark pattern paper on my projects.  However, here is another way to use the collection.  At first it appears to be for fall projects.  But with the red pattern paper, I turned it into a Christmas project.  So versatile for sure.

1. Diecut pattern paper using the Lawn Fawn pillow box die.
2. Adhere together with red line adhesive.
3. Diecut white cardstock using the small stitched dies.
4. Distress the leaves with ink. Adhere with foam squares.
5. Stamp/diecut the little images from the Lawn Fawn Holiday Party Animal set.
6. Color in the images.
7. Adhere to the pillow box.
8. Embellish with twine.

We are on Day 3 of the August Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week.  Today the designers also known as "fawnies" are showcasing the coordinating stamp/die set called Thankful Mice & a die set called, Small Stitched Leaves.  Make sure you head on over to the Lawn Fawn Blog, to check out what the other designers created.  Plus leave a comment over there for a chance to win some great product!

Lawn Fawn: Pillow Box die + Peek A Bat + Give a Hoot

Okay people.
I am literally obsessed with the die I get to showcase today from Lawn Fawn.
Its a pillow box die.
Kinda died and went to heaven.  I am so, so, so excited about this product.

Head on over to the Lawn Fawn Blog, to check out more great projects and for a chance to win these awesome products!

I shared this project with you yesterday.  This is just the pillow box die used on its own.

Here is what you get, when you diecut the pillow box with pattern paper, but you also use the Peek A Bat die with it!
Please tell me I am not the only one going nuts lol.

Again, using the Pillow Box die from Lawn Fawn in conjunction with the Give A Hoot Dies!!  Not only can you use this with the pillow box, but on cards, banners...pretty much anything!!  Seriously the sky is the limit!

Lawn Fawn: Booyah

I am so excited to share projects with you, the next few days!  This is the August Lawn Fawn Inspiration week, so there will be lots of new fall product, including stamps, paper, dies and twine.  Make sure you are checking out the Lawn Fawn Blog daily, because they are giving away some fabulous prizes, every day.

Today, I am sharing a few projects using the new stamp & coordinating die set called Booyah.  The sentiments and images are really super cute, and there are so many fun accessories for the ghost/ghouls.

First up is a pillow box that I created using the pillow box die (will show more tomorrow on that die).  Once I diecut the pillow box, I stamped the stars, and sentiment onto the pattern paper before I adhered it together.  I then stamped a ghost and witches hat onto solar white card stock before die cutting the images out.  I colored in the images using Copic markers, tie twine around the treat box and adhered the diecuts to the pillow box using foam adhesive.

Next up is a fun stamped card using several different stamps and sentiments from the Booyah stamp set.  You can turn the ghosts into mummy's, pirates, cats etc... It truly is a super fun Halloween stamp set.

For my project today, I decided to make a card.  I love to make cards, they are in my wheelhouse with what I feel comfortable making.  Even though the blog hop name is "Girlie Grunge" these products are super versatile and fit with any style.

1.  First, I started by adding Donna Salazar with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L E-Z Stars Runner Refillable, and applying the stars to my pattern paper and die cut.

2.  Sprinkle gold glitter over the stars, tap off excess glitter.

3.  Apply Home & Hobby Extreme Double Sided Tape 1/4" permanent tape to both sides of the pattern paper.

5.  Adhere the pattern paper to the card front using Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D Foam Squares (regular, white).
