Lawn Fawn: XOXO

Image
Today I am sharing a bright lovey dovie card using colors that remind be of Florida towns.  Bright pink and lime green.  I am using a XOXO die from Lawn Fawn that is now available.  Head on over to the Lawn Fawn Blog to check out more dies that are new, as well as more inspiration.  Plus a chance to win a lot of new product!! My husband is currently deployed, so I send him quite a bit of cards in the mail.  They need to be not so bulky so they are not ruined in the mail.  So I had this in mind when I created this card. Using the new Bar 4 Stitched Rectangle dies, I created the card base as well as the top panel.  Using the Plastic Flamingo ink from Lawn Fawn, I blended ink onto the left side of the panel, and then stamped hearts in the same color ink.  I diecut lime card stock using the same die as the front panel, and trimmed it down, then adhered it to the panel using foam squares.  The XOXO was die cut using white card stock, and adhered to the lime panel.  I added lime twi

Lawn Fawn: Turn Me On

Hello there! Today I am sharing a mini stamp/die set called Turn Me On by Lawn Fawn.  Its name is super "punny" and so perfect for Valentine's Day, birthdays or just because.  I am also using the new Stitched Bar 4 Rectangle dies! You can win this set if you head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog and leave a comment. To create this gradient look to the card, I first diecut white cardstock with one of the Bar 4 Stiched rectangle dies.  I used the newest inks from Lawn Fawn called Plastic Flamingo (pink) and Fresh Lavender (purple).  I blended the inks pretty heavily 1/3 of the way into the center, and then didn't apply as much ink in the center, to get a nice even blend.  To blend the inks onto the card stock, I use the circle ink blenders from Tim Holtz.  I stamped the sentiment in a nice black ink, then stamped the lightswitch.  The lighbulb was stamped/diecut and colored in using Copic markers, then adhered using foam squares.  The panel was adhered to the car
