Lawn Fawn: XOXO
Today I am sharing a bright lovey dovie card using colors that remind be of Florida towns. Bright pink and lime green. I am using a XOXO die from Lawn Fawn that is now available. Head on over to the Lawn Fawn Blog to check out more dies that are new, as well as more inspiration. Plus a chance to win a lot of new product!!
My husband is currently deployed, so I send him quite a bit of cards in the mail. They need to be not so bulky so they are not ruined in the mail. So I had this in mind when I created this card.
Using the new Bar 4 Stitched Rectangle dies, I created the card base as well as the top panel. Using the Plastic Flamingo ink from Lawn Fawn, I blended ink onto the left side of the panel, and then stamped hearts in the same color ink. I diecut lime card stock using the same die as the front panel, and trimmed it down, then adhered it to the panel using foam squares. The XOXO was die cut using white card stock, and adhered to the lime panel. I added lime twine to finish off the card and adhered the panel to the card front using foam squares.
