Concord & 9th

Image
I recently guest designed for Concord & 9th . To me they represent clean and graphic. They have stamps for the stamper who loves to diecut and as well as line images for those who like to color. Here are some of my favorite cards that I made using their February release! Concord and 9th also has a beautiful line of cardstock as well as coordinating inks, which makes creating that much easier. Currently they are releasing their March release, and it looks amazing!!

Happy Birthday Taylored Expressions!!

Image
Friends!! Today Taylored Expressions turns 12!! Happy Birthday TE! I am so excited to share my first projects being on the TE Design Team.  There is a lot to share, so buckle up and lets get started.  First up is a bright & fun, happy birthday card. I started by stenciling the background with the new Bokeh Layered Stencils. Its a stencil set that has three different stencils that creates a bokeh effect.  Once the background was completed, I took the On The Block "happy" die, placed it at a diagonal and diecut it in the center of the panel. On a separate piece of white cardstock, I stamped the "happy" sentiment from On The Block Happy and used foam adhesive to place the stenciled panel over the stamped sentiment.  The cute party animals (giraffe and monkey) are from the Life Of The Party Set. They were stamped in black ink, and then colored in with copic markers, fussy cut and adhered to the card using foam adhesive. The "birthday" sentiment is from t...

Happy Birthday

Hello friends! How are you all doing? The state of the world is definitely strange right now. This is a wonderful time to take a little time for yourself and be creative. For myself, papercrafting has always been therapy and I will continue to carve out a little bit of time each day to my craft room to escape.  For this card I first blended a white die cut panel using red, orange, yellow, green and blue inks. Then using Offset Saying, Birthday, I stamped the sentiments using the same inks.  The main sentiment and music notes were stamped onto the panel in black ink. The critters were stamped in black ink, colored in with copic markers, cut out with scissors and then adhered to the panel using foam adhesive onto a Kraft card base.  Just looking at this card makes me happy, and I cannot wait to put it in the mail.  I hope you are still following along with the Lawn Fawn March inspiration week, and check out all of the beautiful projects on the blog...

Cupcake Birthdays

Image
Have you been following along with the Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week? The Fawnies, are making incredible projects, everyday someone has made my jaw drop from their cleverness. Today I have a card using the new Stitched Cupcake die set. I wanted something bright and bold, but that was clean looking.  I diecut the different pieces in pinks, aquas and oranges so I would have a selection of colors that I could mix with each other. Some of the pieces needed to be glued together, so while the glue was drying, I stamped the "happy birthday" sentiment in black ink. I adhered all of the diecut pieces to the above the sentiment using foam adhesive. Except for the hearts, those were glued on. To finish, I doubled up twine, and tied a loose fun bow. Head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog for more beautiful projects to inspire you to create!

Happy Birthday

Hello friends! Its the Lawn Fawn June Inspiration Week and the designers are showcasing the other half of the summer release. Today I am sharing a clean designed card, that will only take one stamp to mail. The card is a 4.25 x 5.5 inch card base. Its a 4.25 x 11 inch strip of cardstock scored at 5.5 inches. This seems like a very simple concept, but I am adding in those measurement because a lot of new stampers like exact measurements for replication.  Once the card base was created, the sentiments from Birthday Before & After stamp set, were stamped in black ink onto the center of the card front. The images from the same stamp set, were stamped in black ink, then colored in using an assortment of copic markers. The images were fussy cut with scissors and then adhered to the cardfront using foam adhesive. If this isn't going in the mail, I would have added ribbon or twine to embellish! Head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog to see some INCREDIBLE cards using this se...

Lawn Fawn: Critters From the Past

Image
Welcome to the April Inspiration Week over at Lawn Fawn.  Today, the designers are showcasing a stamp set called Critters from The Past.  The critters sets, are always so cute, and very popular.  I love all of the dinosaurs in this set.  It reminds me of when my children were little and completely obsessed with dinosaurs. Today, I decided to made a tag using the Tag You're It Lawn Cuts, using some Let's Polka pattern paper, as well as the Birthday Tags stamp set.  I really love layering tags together, it gives the project a little extra depth not to mention the pop of green. Head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog , for more inspiration using this set.  Make to leave a comment for a chance to win this set too!
