Hello friends! Today I am sharing a few gift cards that I created for Teacher Appreciation Week.  Now that my youngest is in High School, we give his teachers gift cards to Starbucks. Today, Lawn Fawn is releasing Ahoy, Matey stamp set, Simple Gift Card Slot dies & Lift The Flap dies.  I was able to use all three items to create these gift card holders.  The Lift The Flap die set, is a set of three dies, that creates a flap in any project you create.  The Gift Card Slot dies, keeps you gc in place. Head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog , to see a video of how all of these new items work as well as a chance to win these products!! Here is an up close picture of how the flip dies work in combination with the gift card slot dies. the sentiments in the Ahoy, Matey stamp set worked perfectly for a teachers gift

Quick & Easy Gift Cards

I needed a few super easy gift cards, to give to my children.  I do not get them Easter baskets anymore, just their favorite candies, maybe a small gift and then gift cards. I used a gift card die template for my projects, you don't even need to find a way to enclose them, because they latch shut. I used some Fancy Pants Designs pattern paper & stickers from Everyday Circus and Burlap & Bouquets .  The sticker sheets have a ton of different alphabet fonts, and great little elements that made decorating these gift cards so very easy. So, when I saw this stamp set from Lawn Fawn, and then saw the teacher gift cards at Starbucks, the gears started churning in my noggin for a cute gift card idea. By stamping the gift card holder, and personalizing it, my hope is that is will make her teacher feel a little extra special and that we are thinking of her.  I wish I could give mo...
