Do you like interactive cards? Taylored Expressions has made this theater fold interactive die kit, so so easy. You will need to diecut the outer layer, and two inside pieces. But included are pieces already diecut and scored, ready to use.  After die cutting sugar cube cardstock to create the top layer. Using watermelon, candy corn and pinapple inks, the diecut panel was ink blended to create a gradient of red/orange/yellow. A stencil was placed over the panel and ink blended again to create a design.  The thank you sentiment was stamped, then diecut to place over the pre cut and scored diecut pieces. Then using the same stencil and ink colors, to create the same pattern.  When you pull the sides of the card apart, there is a secret area to place another sentiment/image. So fun! I am loving these big bold sentiments with coordinating dies. They really can add that extra zing to a card when you stamp the sentiment onto colored cardstock and diecut it out.  To start,...

  Hello friends! I get to share such a fun release with you all today, from the Taylored Expressions Easter Release . I think there is a little something for everyone. Make sure you head on over to the website today to see whats new! For this first card, I wanted to use colors I typically don't use together but are bright, colorful and scream spring. The cardstock was cut and scored to 4.25 x 5.5 inches. To begin the Pennant Parade stamp was stamped directly on top of the card base. Using the clear stamps from the Pennant Parade East Set, the pennants were stamped multiple times with different ink colors. They were cut out and set aside. The sentiment was stamped in black ink, and the the little elements around the banner were stamped as well before the pennants were adhered to the card using foam adhesive.  I love it when a cared turns out exactly how you picture it in your mind.   Hello there friends! There is a new kit from Taylored Expressions and I have a few samples to share with you. In the kit there is a sun ray stencil with an opening that fits the "hey there" sentiment perfectly.  I started by stamping the "hey there" sentiment, coloring it in with copic markers and then ink blending around the sentiment using the stencil. Its not showing up in the photo, but there is glossy accents over the sentiment. To embellish I added a few pink enamel dots.  For this next card, I used the "hey there" stencil and die using several different ink onto toffee cardstock. Then layering it onto a white car base and adding coordinating cardstock stripes underneath.  For the last card, I took the "good vibes" sentiment from the kit and stamped it over and over again using different colored inks. Hello friends! I feel like the worst blogger in the world right now. I was so sick in April and May. Around 6 weeks to be exact. I did not have Covid that I am aware of, just a lot of the same symptoms. Needless to say I didn't want to be on my computer so I just used social media to share my projects instead. I hope you are all doing well in your neck of the woods.  Now onto the Lawn Fawn Release. This is the summer release which means everything is brand, brand new! I hope you all followed along on social media and on the Lawn Fawn blog. The rose was stamped in black ink and then colored in using copic markers. The sentiment is in black in as well. Strips of pink and red cardstock were adhered to the white card base to tie in with the rose coloring. To give the card depth and dimension and rose and sentiment were adhered using foam adhesive. 

My blog post never went live yesterday, so I am combining two cards in one today.  First up is a new backdrop from Lawn Fawn called Speech Bubble Backdrop. Its a die where the edge is stitched but the speech bubbles get die cut. I chose to remove the bubbles and then watercolor them in light pink, orange and yellow. There is another speech bubble die, where the inside speech bubbles are stitched and do not get cut out. I am just putting it out there so you know there are two choices!  The little cute dog is a new stamp, and can be found in the Say What? Pets. Over on the Lawn Fawn blog, you can see the different dies and new stamps and how they are used on projects. In the speech bubble theme. Hello friends! Today I am sharing a card using the stamp set called Llama Tell You from Lawn Fawn . This is a 2x3 inch stamp set (and only $4!!). I love that with such a small stamp set I can fill an entire card.  The llamas were stamped in black ink onto white cardstock and then colored in with Copic Markers. I cut out the llamas with scissors instead of die cutting them. Before the llamas were adhered to the card front with foam adhesive, the sentiment was stamped in black ink at the bottom of the card. At first adding black twine seemed like it would finish and embellish the card well, but then decided to use enamel heart stickers, in coordinating colors. Friends. Like many of you, I love coffee. It is my most desired beverage of choice in the mornings, its just kind of magic. For those of you who do not drink coffee, never fear, there are cocoa and marshmallow sentiments included, you are not forgotten. Just looking at this stamp set, and knowing all of the different ways I can decorate these mugs, makes me insanely happy. This is the Thanks A Latte stamp se t from Lawn Fawn, and I love it. I started by ink blending aqua ink onto the cardbase, then stamping the sentiment in black ink, and the bottom of the card. The images were stamped onto white cardstock, then colored in using Copic Markers. The latte art was created by coloring in the coffee mug with a copic marker then stamping over it with a brown ink.  All of the images were hand cut, and then applied to the card using foam adhesive.
