A few days ago, I went to mail a card and was very surprised at the cost.  So today I am sharing one layered cards.

The Lots of Thanks stamp set is the perfect stamp set to create stationery sets.  With the classic fonts and swirls it tugs at the part of me, who loves stationery stores.

If you are wondering why my pictures are taken differently today, its because of this Celebration Diva's fault lol.  It was too windy and cold outside, and she demanded to be in front of our Christmas tree.  After I stamped the image, I colored her in using alcohol markers, this gives the card a little bit of dimension.  Then to glitz her up a bit, I added glitter glue to different elements, like the stars, bottom half of her dress, champagne and her earrings.

Lawn Fawn: Love You Tons

Today head on over to the Lawn Fawn Blog to check out another new stamp and coordinating die set, called Love You Tons.  This is a 2x3 mini stamp set.

I wanted to make a non-tradition Valentines Day card (with my colors).  I love the way the pink and green look together.  I stamped my images, die cut them out, and then colored them in.  Before I adhered them to the card with 3D foam squares, I stamped the hearts and sentiment.

Today over on the Lawn Fawn Blog, we are showcasing a few favorite stamp sets that now have coordinating dies!!

For my card today, I used the On The Mend Stamp set with the matching dies.  After each was stamped, and die cut out, I colored them in using Copic Markers.  I then stamped my sentiment in black ink and adhered the die cuts to the card using 3D foam squares.

Gina K December Release

The Design Team for Gina K. Designs welcomes you to another fabulous Inspiration Blog Hop! Gina and the Design Team will inspire you with many beautiful ideas! My first project is a baby card that I tried to make gender neutral, using soft pastel colors.  The hanging stars were stamped using the It's The Little Things stamp set in sweet corn ink.  The sentiment and image were stamped in black ink, and then the fox was colored in using alcohol markers.  I added a little bit of glitter glue to a few of the stars for a sparkly embellishment.

My second project is a card using the Vertical Greetings stamp set.  I stamped the image and sentiment in black ink, then colored in the flowers.  Sometimes, horizontal sentiments just do not fit correctly when making a card, so having great sentiments vertically is so great!  To soften the card, I rounded the bottom corners and added gingham ribbon.

Lawn Fawn: Science of Love

This week Lawn Fawn is having their Valentine's release, with 2 new stamp sets and 5 die sets.  Today, we are showcasing the stamp/die set called Science of Love.  This set fuels my inner geek, there are so many cute images I couldn't decide what to use for today's project.
I stamped the book in black ink, and then die cut it out.  I colored it in with Copic markers.  The sentiment and hearts were all stamped, and then heat set with clear embossing powder.

Head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog for more projects using this set, and for a chance to win it!!

CardMaker Hop Featuring We R Memory Keepers Punch Boards

Today, the CardMaker Blog Team is showcasing projects using the fun new We R Memory Keepers Punch Boards.  This was my very first time using a Punch Board, and honestly I was a little scared at first.  However, the instructions are very clear, and it was extremely fast and easy to finish the bags shown below.  What I really love about this punch, is how versatile it is with the different sized bags I have the choice in making.  Click on this link here, to watch a video on the board I used.  (it's the first video, the yellow bag punch)

Please take a few minutes, to visit the following blogs.
Next up on the hop is Michelle.
