Hello friends! I have a few cards to share with you today using Picket Fence Studios stamps . I cannot believe its July and that Halloween and Christmas are just right around the corner. When social distancing started, I should have just put up my Christmas tree. Christmas is my favorite and makes me ridiculously happy. My family might have thought I was crazy, but its 2020, there are no rules this year.  So, for this first card using the Most Wonderful Time of the Year stamp set , it was created using oxide inks. I typically do not gravitate towards those inks, but trying new techniques is always an adventure. Oxide inks to me are very bold and striking, and are perfect for layering stamps.  I know some people only gravitate towards traditional Christmas colors, however its fun to expand your holiday color palette. Hello friends! Did you know that Lawn Fawn now has a few different embossing powders as well as glitter?  For my project today, I did a little bit of water coloring.  Let me tell you a little secret.  When you want to water color images, if you heat emboss the image with embossing powder, it makes the water coloring process so much easier! Especially if you are worried about the color going outside of the lines. 1.  Stamp images in versa mark ink. 2.  Apply Lawn Fawn Gold embossing powder onto the image.  Heat set with a heat gun. 3.  Stamp sentiment in versamark ink, apply silver embossing powder. Heat set 4.  Water color the image. 5.  To ground the image so it doesn't look like its floating on the white card stock, add green water color for grass, and blue for the sky. 6.  Die cut the white card stock with a rectangle die. 7.  Apply the diecut to pattern paper with foam adhesive. 8.  Adhere to a whi...

Today I have created a card using one of the newest stamp sets from Lawn Fawn called, Monster Mash.  Monster Mash is so flipping cute!  My children were totally completely obsessed with the movie Monsters Inc, I would have love to have this stamp set back then.  The really awesome part, is there is a coordinating die set too!   One thing that I am obsessed with this week, are the new Lawn Fawn Woodgrain Notecards, in jewel tones...sigh!  So perfect for fall right?  Right now, I really, really, really miss my daughter.  She just went off to college, and it is so hard.  I literally miss her every second, so it is coming out in my card making.  Every card I make right now, I want to send to her lol.  But honestly, I think I will put this card in the Halloween Package I will send her next month, for her and her dorm roomie.   Make sure you head on over to the Lawn Fawn Blog , to check out more great inspiration from the design ...
