I have been feeling really inspired to create lately, I think its because I only buy what I love now & not stuff that is on sale or what seems to be a trend.  Don't get me wrong I love new stuff, I just know more about what I use and what I don't use and I kind of have stopped hoarding and I'm using up my stuff. (amazing I know lol) So this card I just love, I don't think I can ever mail it out.  Do any of you do that?  This card is the whole enchilada.  I stamped, sewed, used chipboard, covered the chipboard, slapped on some buttons, twine & lace, used some yummy Noteworthy paper & the result is one paperlicious card >" "Happiness" Noteworthy paper, Unity August kit of the month stamps, retired SU card stock, button, chipboard, lace, twine Before I made the card I made this chipboard tag, I'm thinking I will turn it into a magnet or put in on my bookshelf in my room or use it as a bookmark.  Who knows what I will do with it?  I like it...

I am sooooo behind in getting thank you cards out, so last night I started another attempt to finish them. For this card all I knew is that I wanted to make a 3x6 card, I had never made one, but they look really cute. I also wanted to use my new BasicGrey two scoops paper. While going through my 12x12 cardstock, I realized I need more 12x12 plain heavy paper. So I settled on this green cardbase, if I remember right I think it might be Bazzill. The brackets are by Inque Boutique that have been sitting in their package waiting patiently to be inked up. The bird image is from the Fun and Fast notes by SU. I stamped it in black stazon ink because I wanted to try my first attempt at watercoloring with mineral spirits...eeeck lol. I am a beginner at this and I really didn't know if I was doing it right or not, so it took forever to color! I have a small set of 12 watercolor Prisma pencils so I had to blend alot for the image to match the paper. I am really happy with the results. As a ...

This is going to have to be a quick post because I am running out the door, to go pick up my goodies from Flourishes (they are a new scs memeber company & they are based about 18 min. away from me!)
