Taylored Expressions Valentines Release!

Image
Its January 5th, 2021...its freaking 2021! How wild is that? I am ready for a fresh new year, and I am promising myself, to be excited about it. I am ready for all of the good 2021 has to offer. And speaking of excitement & good, I am sharing some fun new products from Taylored Expressions today.  I am loving that all of the stamp companies are on board with stencils right now, they create an awesome back drop to images, especially when using colored cardstock. I used the Heart of Hearts Layered Stencil to create this red background. Its a stencil set that includes 2 stencils that can be used together or separate. Once my background was inked the images from Love From Max & Millie were stamped in Oreo ink. The hot air balloon and cute little kitty cat were colored in using copic markers, then die cut using the coordinating dies. For added dimension and interest the die cut and sentiment were adhered to the card using foam adhesive.  There is a set of scalloped treat...

Fall is Coming!

Hello friends.  A few projects are on the blog today. Both are showcasing new products from the latest Lawn Fawn release, and very much so fall inspired. First up, is a clean and graphic card using the Caramel Apple stamp and die set.  The apples were stamped in black ink onto white cardstock, colored in with copic markers and then cut out with the coordinating dies. The card base is 4.25 x 5.5 inches using the white woodgrain cardstock from Lawn Fawn.  The sentiment was double stamped since the cardstock is textured, and the apples were adhered using foam adhesive.  I die cut a piece of pattern paper from the Knit Picky Fall collection using the tote bag die. Then using the Mini Box Bat add-on die set, die cut purple glittered cardstock and adhered it to the bag as a fun halloween goody bag. Embellished with twine. The bag was then filled with candy corn and a ghost peep. That peep is giving me so much life lol For more product information, head ...

Lawn Fawn: Perfectly Fall Plaid

Image
Hello friends!  Today I am sharing another treat bag, using the Scalloped Treat bag die and Stitched tree border dies from Lawn Fawn.  If you head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog , the focus today is the Perfectly Plaid Fall pattern paper, as well as new card stock and ink (like storm cloud...its a dark grey). Yesterday I talked about how easy is it is to create this treat bag.  Today I die cut the Stitched trees die and adhered it to the front of the bag using foam adhesive, it just gives the bag that little extra touch.  I didn't add a tag, but adding a stamped sentiment onto the twine would be super cute! Lawn Fawn: Scalloped Treat Bag & Bows

Image
Hello friends, I am back today sharing a treat bag.  Lawn Fawn has another die that when die cut twice, creates a scalloped treat bag.  The score lines are created when you die cut it, so all you have to do is fold along the lines, add adhesive and adhere together.  There is a great video that explains how to use the die over on the Lawn Fawn youtube channel, and on the blog.  Head on over to the Lawn Fawn Blog , to see all of the wonderful projects using todays featured products.  The Bow die, is also new this month, there are three different sized bows. I used the Perfectly Plaid Fall 12x12 pattern paper to create this bag, as well as the bow.  Each bag you need to die cut twice, so you can get 4 bag diecuts to make 2 treat bags from a single sheet of 12x12 paper.  The Halloween image and sentiment are from the Plan On It: Holidays stamp set.
