Hey there!  If you visited the CardMaker Blog on Friday, then you would have seen a few pictures of my craft space.  Here is the link to that post.  I share a little about my space, and myself as well as pictures, so head on over and check it out. Today, I am sharing a video here on my blog.  I have received a few questions about my craft room, so I will try and address those at the bottom of this post.  Also, if you have a question feel free to ask in the comments section. Answers to some questions I have received. Where did you get your long table? My work table is something that my husband made for me.  It is two Martha Stewart book shelves (purchased at Home Depot), with a half sheet of plywood on top.  Behind the shelves, are brackets that you cannot see, that support the wall side of the table top.  The top is sanded, corners were rounded, white washed and then finished with a polyurethane. Where did you get the peg board, and peg board accessories? The peg b

Riley's ABC's

Image
Wow!  Can you believe its is getting close to the end of another school year?  Some of my daughters friends are graduating this year, so I need to start on Congratulation cards.  It is a little sad to think that this time next year, my own child will be getting ready to graduate and to head off to college.  I am not prepared for those moments yet. Anyhow, head on over to the Lawn Fawn Blog and check out all of the projects using the Riley's ABC Alphabet set.

Critters on the Savanna

Image
I have to admit, I seriously love to color these two critters.  As I was thinking up a card idea, I really wanted to use both of them, and have them in grass somehow.  When I tried to stamp grass, it just didn't give me the depth I had in my mind.  All of the sudden I thought "aha!" I can create some grass with pattern paper, and have the critters sitting in it. To achieve the depth, I used some Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L foam squares (both sizes) on each layer of the grass and critters.   Head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog , for more inspiration using this stamp set.  I used the Lawn Cuts that coordinate with the stamp set as well. *tip* I die cut the lion and giraffe onto white card stock first, and then stamp my image second.

Gina K StampTV Kit: Spring Parade Blog Hop

Today's blog hop, is dedicated to my fellow Gina K designer, Sean Fetterman.  Yesterday, he suffered a heart attack, and is in the hospital recovering.  If you are in the mood to send out good/happy/thoughts/prayers, keep him in mind.  When you first join a design team, it is kind of like your first day of High School.  You don't know who is going to be in your classes, will you have lunch with any of your friends, will people like you? ...it is all of the angst and anxiety, of wanting to be liked an accepted.  I know that sounds crazy, but its how I feel lol.  Well, from the second I joined the Gina K team, Sean has been such a cheerleader an always so supportive.  We have never met, but he feels like an old friend to me.  So when I learned of his heart attack, I was so sad, but more worried. If you would like to send Sean a card here is the address.  Gina is collecting the cards, and will be sending them right away to Sean. Sean Fetterman C/O Gina K. Designs 4
