Lawn Fawn: A Good Apple
Here, in my neck of the woods, this is Teacher Appreciation Week. As my children are getting older (Jr High & High School), I don't buy a gift for all of their teachers. Just the select few, that my children love, and whom I feel go out of their way for the children they teach. Today I am showing you a Gift Card (from Starbucks of course) that I bought for my daughter's AP Psychology teacher. Today (Monday) is the actual AP exam, so I will have Kendall give her this card today. Ms. Waller goes out of her way to have study sessions, which prepare the students for the AP exam, and is always available to them.
So, when I saw this stamp set from Lawn Fawn, and then saw the teacher gift cards at Starbucks, the gears started churning in my noggin for a cute gift card idea.
By stamping the gift card holder, and personalizing it, my hope is that is will make her teacher feel a little extra special and that we are thinking of her. I wish I could give more, but with 14 teachers between my two children, $15 seemed like the perfect amount to give her. She can go get a treat a few times on us.
Head on over to the Lawn Fawn Blog, to check out all of the projects using this wonderful stamp set. There is a giveaway as well!! I know this setwill quickly become a staple in my stamping arsenal.
The "thanks" allows for a little bit of coloring to be done (if you wish), so I colored in the thanks using the same Copic colors used in the apple.
To personalize the gift card, I used Riley's ABC's.
