My Deepest Thanks

Hello friends!
Let me first say, watercoloring is not easy lol. I am on a mission to get better.  Since I have been using copic markers since 2005 (13 years) it is my go to way of coloring, its second nature.  So using watercolor as a medium where I feel I have less control has been a learning process for sure!

With that said, todays project is a muted pastel water colored card.  The watercolor paper is from Arches, so its a nice thick paper, it also means it takes longer to dry.  So on one panel I created the background, then on the other I stamped the image and die.  I did not want a white edge along my girl diver, so I fussy cut along the edge of the stamped image.

You cannot really tell from the photo, but the diver and the porthole diecut are adhered with foam adhesive giving the card a little more depth.

Head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog, to see amazing project using new product as well as a chance to win the release!!
