Twill Quilt

I made this card a while back but I must have forgotten to share it.  A few years ago, Chris had sent me some twill like fabric that has adhesive on one side.  So I stamped some quilt blocks from the new Quilters Sampler set from PTI and then colored them in.  I cut out the little mini quilt and I wanted it to look ruffled & cozy, so after much primping this is how it turned out.  I really like it.  I almost added ribbon, but I think that would have been too much, so I settled on a couple of buttons.  I am working on a card set to give to one of my Aunt's, she makes the most beautiful quilts {kind of helps that she owns a quilt/fabric store}.  I think this will be a perfect gift.
Well I am off to N. CA {not close to you Alex, maybe next time >"<} I will be visiting family for a few days, but I will try and blog while I'm there.  I am hoping to relax and make some fabulous cards in my down time.  Oh and eat my favorite food and go to the best bakery in the world.
