card made by my HUSBAND!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!
This morning after the kids were off to school, I decided I to take a much needed nap. My husband came in & said "goodbye & to have a good day" When I woke up this card was taped to our tv. He went through my stuff, cut, taped & stamped this all my himself. He did leave his mess up pile, so I know he put a lot of effort into it. I don't care what it looks like, its the thought that matters most. My husband is a manly man, so it means even more that he tried to be creative for me.
I get to spend money on Papertreyink stamps tonight for my present. Stamps last longer than flowers. Do you ever feel that after you tell your husband/boyfriend not to get you flowers you secretly wish they can read your mind & get them for you anyways? I kind of feel that way today, but I am soooo happy with the card he made & new stamps!! Have a fantastic Valentine's Day!

It's wonderful! He did a great job! I love the line in Moonstruck when the florist says, "Red roses, the man that sends these really knows what he's doing." Cher replies, "The man that sends those spends a lot of money on something that's going to end up in the garbage!" OK, maybe not a direct quote, but it's close! I love flowers, but I'll take crafting supplies over them anytime!

Nice card!!! How sweet of him, shows how much he appreciates what you do and that he knows how much you love this hobby.

Oooh! Too cute - my hubby knows not to ever buy a storebought card for me - but is a little intimidated to make a card of his own - so just no cards!

I found your blog this evening though a link on Stampin When I can blog. What a fantastic card! Your husband has talent, not is if you didn't already know that. :)
