New Stamps :)

Yesterday in the mail I got my new Stampin Up stamps and other things, so it was a happy mail day! I bought one of the stamp sets out of the mini-catalog and I am loving the die-cut stamps it was wonderful just to pop them out instead of cutting rubber. Wild Wasabi is the perfect green. I think I'm going to use it in my Christmas cards this year. This weekend I will have to play around with my stamps and see if I can come up with a proto-type for this years xmas card.

Materials used for the pocket card:

whisper white, wild wasabi & real red cardstock, Provo Craft holiday paper, SU ticket punch, SU scallop punch, wild wasabi double stitched ribbon, real red 5/8 grosgrain ribbon, white satin ribbon from Micheals, paper clip, hole punch, creative memories punch, SU chalk, SU Wishing you Cheer stamp set & Circle of Friendship stampset.

I am loving the Purely Pomegranite satin ribbon! I now have to have it in Chocolate Chip, I don't care that its $9.95 its worth it and you are getting 15 yards...thats a lot of ribbon. I have been holding back on getting the Baroque Motifs stamp set, but I really like flourishes right now, so I went ahead and bought it :). If you look through the gallery on SCS, people have made some amazing cards with this set.

Here is my last card and probably my favorite I made last night. I like this color combination, it puts me in the Christmas spirit :)
