Fun Weekend

My son and husband went camping with the Cub Scouts this weekend. So my 11 yr old daughter had the house to ourselves. I pulled almost everything out of my craft room and put it in the dining room, I had to clear the buffet and add two more tables for everything to have a place. So I scrapbooked, made some cards and did a few altered items, it was FANTASTIC!

So here is one of the layouts I did. I used the Secret Garden Simply Scrappin' kit from SU. I really love this kit. The stickers are not like normal stickers, these are really really thick and I like that. I am definately going to buy more of these sets!! The pictures are from when we still lived in South Carolina. It has been a little over a year since we have moved but I still miss Charleston everyday. It is such a beautiful city. I believe these were taken around Easter last year, and we had gone to a really nice restaraunt downtown. The kids looked so adorable in their outfits, and isn't Jacob's hat too cute!!

So on to the next project, I made a few 3x3 Halloween cards. The first card, the stamps used were from the dollar bin at Micheal's. I stamped the pumpkins in Pumpkin Pie, and then colored them in with PP chalk/pastels. I used a green pen to outline the doodles, and fill in the stalk, then used stickles to go over everything. Jeepers Creepers is stamped in Basic Black. I tried really hard to leave the card alone, but I had to add ribbon at the bottom...its orange shear May Arts Ribbon.
This is another 3x3 card, the ghost is from the $ bin as well, however the other images used are from the blog candy stamp set Clearly Wordsworth, I recieved from Mish. I also used one of the stamps as an image for the candy wrapper I made for Ghiradelli chocolate. Everything was stamped in basic black and the ribbon is also by May Arts.
...I forgot to add the base for each card is orange Bazzil cardstock, and SU whisper white.
