Taylored Expressions Valentines Release!

Its January 5th, 2021...its freaking 2021! How wild is that? I am ready for a fresh new year, and I am promising myself, to be excited about it. I am ready for all of the good 2021 has to offer. And speaking of excitement & good, I am sharing some fun new products from Taylored Expressions today.

I am loving that all of the stamp companies are on board with stencils right now, they create an awesome back drop to images, especially when using colored cardstock. I used the Heart of Hearts Layered Stencil to create this red background. Its a stencil set that includes 2 stencils that can be used together or separate. Once my background was inked the images from Love From Max & Millie were stamped in Oreo ink. The hot air balloon and cute little kitty cat were colored in using copic markers, then die cut using the coordinating dies. For added dimension and interest the die cut and sentiment were adhered to the card using foam adhesive.

There is a set of scalloped treat bags, that are so easy to decorate and adhere together. I added some Swiss hearts, another Max & Millie images and used Tag Team Valentine stamp set and dies to embellish my bag.

I started by ink blending Swiss hearts onto a toffee bag using cherry ink and a blender brush. Once the hearts were stenciled on, I used permanent tape to adhere the bag closed. Tag Team Valentine stamp set and dies are the perfect way to add a tag to anything. The stamp set is clear, so you will get perfect placement every time. To finish the card I chose this cute little snarky image from Love From Max & Millie. Stamped then colored in with copic markers then diecut using the coordinating die set. There is nothing better than a snarky cat stamp.

For my final card today, I paired the Stencil Strips Love (polka dot) stencil on toffee cardstock, creating a red inked background. Adhered a strip of guava cardstock. Then stamped a sentiment from Handlettered Love on white cardstockin the same ink. The sentiment was die cut using the coordinating die and then adhered to the card using foam adhesive. What I love about these strips is that you get the perfect border on your project. Sometimes I get a little wild in my blending, so I add purple tape to help adhere the stencil but also so ink doesn't go where I don't want it to be.

Head on over to Taylored Expressions to see the full lineup of all the new products!!
