Sneak of Harold's ABC set from Lawn Fawn

Today I am sneaking the Harold's ABC alphabet set from Lawn Fawn.
I don't know about you, or your children but, my children love to have their names on things.  Anytime I have the chance to personalize something for them, I do it.  Even when they have birthday parties or friends over, I will personalize treats for their friends as well.  Harold's ABC alpha, is so perfect for writing any kind of sentiment or name.  The set comes with, capitals and lower case letters, love that!
For my project, I took a box of Reeses Pieces and altered it.  I think this would be such a fun party favor, or fun gift for a kid.  I trimmed my card stock to the size I liked, and then I stamped the fish from the Critters in the Sea set, in a green ink.  Once the ink was dry, I adhered the card stock to the box.  This is where having a scoring tool comes in handy (thank you scor-pal!).  I cut an embossed white card stock using a Spellbinders S4-246 Labels Eleven die, then stamped the octopus image and set it aside.  Using a scrap piece of white card stock, I stamped the image again, but this time coloring it in with Copic markers (YG03, YG05 & YG06), cut the image out and then set it aside.  One of the awesome features about this alphabet set, is that the letters "butt" up to them perfectly, so I lined up my letters on my acrylic block, inked it up the stamped it underneath the image.  It saved me so much time!!  I wrapped the polka dot ribbon around the box, tied a nice bow, then added a green button.  I put foam tape on the back of the cut out card stock and, adhered it to front of the box, then put foam tape to the cut out/colored in octopus and adhered it to the label.
I love the bright fresh look of this, and I plan on casing myself with this project.
Head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog, she has some blog candy!

Just a little inside funny about this project.
As I was about to start coloring in the octopus, I was reaching for some purple markers.  My son Jacob said, "Do not use purple, that is a girly color".  So, that is why the octopus is green, however, I do they he looks mighty fine in that shade of green myself.
