Poppy Love

When we lived in New England (New York & CT) in the colder months we would have Nor-Easters.  Right now Florida is having torrential rains because of a Nor-Easter!  What the heck...we really need the rain, its just so weird having the weather man say nor-easter in Florida.  Now if my husband was home, he would go into some long explanation on how that is possible, because all pilots are part weather men lol.    From the bad weather, it has been really hard to have long periods of internet service, kind of frustrating, but you can't fight mother nature.  When there is a fast change of weather, my body kind of freaks out.  We went from 90 degree to the fifties, and now if feels like my bones are about to break.  I've been laying under my covers and just coloring.  I colored this poppy from Flourishes, using Copic markers, then dug through my scraps to find some coordinating paper.  I settled on some Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday, and some Bo Bunny polka dotted dp, then layered it on some kraft card stock.  I really like this layout, it would be really easy to reproduce a bunch of these.

I have to go out and do a bunch of stuff today, hopefully all the crappy drivers decide to stay home.  It is going to be another wet one...yesterday some parts of town were getting an inch of rain a hour, mixed in with strong winds, it made it very bad to be on the roads.  I hope you all have a fantastic day!!
