Strut Your Stuff~Sneak Peak
Are you ready for another fabulous release this month from Flourishes!?! Today I am showing you a sneak peek card of the stamp set Strut Your Stuff, which will be available on Friday. For this card, I wanted a simple but classy feel. So I took the large feather in the set, and at the bottom stamped the feather with a green ink, then towards the top I stamped the feather in a aqua ink. Thats how I got it to look two toned. Since peacock feathers are really colorful, I went back in with a blue copic marker, then with a pink shade to make the image pop a little. I just happened to have matching pink satin May Arts ribbon (found here, 5yds for $2.25) to tie a pretty bow with. A girl can never have too many buttons, so I added one with some twine...waalaa perfection. A simple and perfect card to be sent in the mail to brighten someone's day.
