New Release from Flourishes llc Day One

This month there are 3 new stamp sets being released from Flourishes llc.  For my international readers, they do ship world wide.  Today I will be showcasing the Rose set.  Shown below is the actual stamp set and you can buy it here.
For my first card I used the long stem rose stamp and stamped it with Adirondack black soot ink.  I used re-inkers and a water brush to color in my rose (pink pirouette, riding hood red & kiwi kiss).  I had really good control over the shading so this technique was perfect for this image.  I cut and embossed my rectangle panels using the large rectangle Nestabilities by Spellbinders.  The patterned paper is Basic Grey from the Infuse line.  Before glueing down my panels I ran green satin ribbon followed by sheer white ribbon around the dp and tied a bow.  Using a glue dot I adhered the button to the ribbon, glue dots are super strong and keep the buttons in place.
For this card I used Kazan's sketch #15 from 2sketches4you
"Love"
Here is my second card using the smaller rose.  This is a 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 square card.  White on white always looks so classy to me, so I cut and embossed white card stock using the Labels 1 die from Spellbinders (Flourishes sells these)  I stamped the image, colored it in and added my sentiment, then I made two small holes on either side of the stem and ran ribbon through the holes and tied a bow.  Let me back track for a second, the ribbon first goes around the front of the card, then up through the holes ready to be tied.  I added dimmensionals to the front panel to pop up the image a little and to keep it in place.  This rose was colored in using Copic markers.  After I finished the card, it was missing something so I added a piece of black card stock to the back of the card, the black makes the card pop.

Latisha these are so wonderful, what a great set, and the way you have matched the single stem rose either "quiet and sedate" as with your second card or just as "bold and brash as you please" they look lovely both ways.
