Ode to my friend Erica

This past week one of my oldest and dearest and bestest friends, Erica came to visit along with her husband and almost three year old daughter.  It was an extra special visit because they were on vacation in S. California at Disneyland and came down to San Diego for a night (and stayed with us).  We have been friends since we were 14 years old!  Its really easy to loose touch with friends especially when you move as often as I do, but not us.  One day, week or several weeks can go by without us talking, but when we do catch up its as if not an hour had passed since our last conversation.  We have lots in common, our love of books (I got her hooked on Twilight and we saw the movie together) and paper crafting among other things.  So when she came down I gave her a little one on one stamping class, she is not a card maker, but I think she has huge potential!  I snapped a few shots of her cards, they are posted below.  But first a picture of us at Balboa Park.
Erica & T
(thats my nickname, "T" which is short for Tish (teesh), which is short for Latisha)

Here are the cards that Erica made, didn't she do a fabulous job!!!
here she used some Unity stamps to make this card for her Mom
paper is basic grey, ribbon is from PTI, prima flowers and a button
for this card Erica used Verve stamps, MemoryBox & Basic Grey papers
she thought of the distressing on her own...I'm telling ya she is a cardmaker!!
This card is going to one of her best friends.
