Pretty Peony

Earlier this week, maybe on Wednesday I made this card.  It was for the limited supplies challenge, where you were to use some fancy older paper that you have been hoarding.  So I used this K & Co paper that I have had for at least 3 years.  The peony flower is from the Peony stamp set from Flourishes, this stamp has intimidated me since I bought it.  I have tried to make a card with it a few times & hated my results.  This time I went with a dramatic effect, by coloring it in with red.  I stamped it 3 times and colored them in, cut pieces of the flower and then layered them with dimmensionals, which gives it a 3-d look.  In all honesty this is a very simple card, it just looks fancy because of the flower & bow.  If you have any markers, (I used Copic) I started with light pink as my base, then added in red & shadowed with two different colors of brown, the stem and the center of the flower were colored in with a few greens and again with a brown.

This is fantastic, I love what you have done with this flower, it is stunning. I've done this flower myself, but no where near your result.
