Autumn Blessings

Hello friends! Today brings a few autumn cards to the blog. Fall is not my favorite season, but the colors it brings are so very pretty. Here are some new products hitting the shelves of Taylored Expressions today.

This card came together pretty quickly. In my mind, I wanted to create a wreath of sorts. Not a typical wreath but a bundle of the stamped images. First, the swirl background was diecut with white cardstock before being adhered to the cardftont, along with the sentiment. The leaves were stamped in yellow and orange inks, then diecut and adhered with foam adhesive. Some of the leaves had two layers of foam adhesive for two reasons, so the leaves could be arranged that way and also for added dimension.

The What a Hoot Cling and Clear Combo set and stencil has everything you need to make so many different variations and more of this card. These sets in my opinion are the best bang for your buck, because it makes creating so easy.
The red rubber background was stamped onto a white panel, then all of the images were colored in with copic markers and the bellies were stamped with different patterns for variety. The stencil was used on the white panel as well as the circle die with the sentiment. Repeating a pattern is always a fun design element, especially when its used in a different way than intended.
