Thank you so much for being so generous!

Fav memory of this past year. While the memory is tinged with sadness, there was still such a sense of strength, faith and love. Two of my dear cousins passed away this year only a few months apart. They were both kind and amazing people and well loved. This was evident in the amazing way their family handled each loss and came together to support each other and others around them who also felt grief and sadness. It was such blessing to witness and be a part of.
Happy new year! Thanks for the chance to win :)

Thank you for another year of Season's Giving Hop, Latisha. You are such a talented artist and a generous one at that. Each year seems to go by faster and faster. My favorite memory of 2015 was seeing my niece riding a horse...well, not quite riding but being supported on a horse as part of her therapy. She is 3 years old and has Phelan-McDermid syndrome. My brother texted a picture as she was riding and it put a huge smile on my face. My wonderful niece has taught me to not take anything for granted and to make each moment as special as you can. Time with family is important and she has definitely helped bring our family closer together. :) Best wishes to you and your family, Latisha.

I think my favorite memory of 2015 is on November 1st at about 9:30 PM there was a loud, very assertive (and kind of scary) banging on our front door. I jumped up to answer it and my eldest son had flown home from Mexico to surprise his brother for his 18th birthday. It still makes me cry just to think of it.

I think my favorite memory would be my surprise birthday party my dad threw for my 30th. Even better was hearing the stories from everyone on how freaked out he was that I was going to know, or see the cars down the street, or see the balloons in the backyard (i didn't) and was totally surprised.

In August of 2015, my daughters and I got to go on a special trip with my mom. It was wonderful getting to spend so much time together without the day to day stresses and tasks that can get in the way. I'm so glad that my girls got to connect with their grandmother and that we could laugh and enjoy each other so much. It was truly a blessing!

Thank you for this hop Latisha. It's my first time doing one and I've already discovered new brands I like. Yay! My favourite memory of 2015 was the phone call to tell me I was approved for a rental property. Doesn't sound like a big deal, but I had an extremely traumatic year with housing, health and work. Everything had fallen apart. Moving was my one chance to have a better life, stop living in acute fear and just be able to sleep. I later realised my new real estate had chosen me, just me! This had never happened before due to prejudice as I am disabled. I felt so lucky I made them a big bucket of sweets with my Lawn Fawn stamps. And thanks to them I can sleep in peace and even have neighbours I can say hello to, which i have not had in many years. Small kindnesses can make a big difference :) Happy new Year! Suz x

My favorite 2015 memory is of my husband addressing 100 Marines and 40ish former Marines/family at a memorial service to honor the men who did not survive a helicopter crash in 1985. He is not a public speaker, but did a fantastic job, speaking from his heart as one of the survivors of the crash.

I have trouble remembering things (no problem, just tend to focus on now) so my memories tend to be recent. My grandson gave me a trip to the Phoenix Escape Room for xmas. We went together last week and it was an incredible hour. And such a great gift -- a new experience and time with him.

Thanks for creating this blog hop each year. It is truly fantastic. My best memory is right before my husband passed in Dec. He didn't know who I was for a long time and the week before he passed when I came in the room a smile lit up his face and he said "I love You". I will always have that special memory with me.
