Congratulations

Is tomorrow really May 1st?  We have a busy week in my household.  The boy has a field trip, a dance and a parents meeting for 5th graders entering Middle School in the fall (ay yi yi).  The girl has prom, and the pup has a Vet appt.  Somehow, I need to figure out dinner for Cinco de Mayo, and what kind of Margarita I will have lol.
Today, I am showing a card using the May stamp set from Avocado Arts.  I wanted to created a custom pattern paper with the stamps.  This card looks fairly simple, but for some reason it took hours to make.  The creative process isn't as easy as you would think sometimes.  Nothing was coming together right.  Inks were the wrong color, I wasn't putting enough pressure on the stamps to get a good impression, I smeared ink on one card...  It was a process for this baby lol.  In the end, I am really happy with the way it turned out.  I am not a card maker that enjoys mass production, but I could see myself making a few of these for a gift set.
