Mint Motif October sneak: Beyond Borders

Happy Monday!
Today I get to sneak a brand new set from Mint Motif called Beyond Borders, available on Oct 14th.
What is so wonderful about this set, is that is is a background builder set.  It can be used on any project you can dream of, all year round.  I really enjoy stamping on my scrapbook pages, so I used one of the stamps from this set, to stamp a great background instead of using pattern paper.  Only stamps could have given me this look.
I started out with a 8 1/2 x 11 inch sheet of kraft card stock.  I then took out some Crackle paint, spread it on part of the card stock, and let it dry.  Once dry, I stamped my image with Palette ink, I did this three times to create a nice pattern.  I then adhered gems down, partly over the crackle paint and stamped pattern.  The gems were originally clear, but I took out a Copic marker, to coordinate & customize it with the ink.  I then adhered a picture of my daughter, that was the inspiration of this page.  A while back I bought these awesome kraft flowers from Graphic 45 called Flower Staples, so I opened up the package, inked up the edges, adhered them down, and added some bling to the centers.  The title is a rub-on from American Crafts, which just finished off the page perfectly.
Visit the rest of the design team for more sneaks using one of two stamp sets being released this month:

Look at you making layouts! Love the addition of the pieces of lace on the sparkly swirls. And it doesn't hurt that Kendall is such a pretty girl. :)
