CPS #190 using Lawn Fawn, Spellbinders & American Crafts
Today, I had every intention of making a few Halloween cards. However, it is just around 100 degrees here, in North East Florida, and I just could not get into seasonal stamping lol. My bright City Park paper from American Crafts was calling out to me loud and clear. This line makes me so happy! From the graphic design American Crafts is known for, to the amazing images, plus they scattered glitter all over it, just screams fun! To start, I cut/embossed my pattern paper with a Grand Scalloped Square die template, using my handy dandy Grand Calibur. Die cutting has never been easier or more fun using these new tools! Okay, so now that my paper is die cut, it was time to score it. Since the die cut is a perfect 6 inch square, I scored at 3 inches (you have got to love easy math). Oh, let me back track for a second, I am using the Card Positioning Systems sketch #190, I am a sucker for a great sketch! Now that my card is scored, it was time to start embellishing it. The fun sentiment and lightbulb image are in the How Delightful stamp set from Lawn Fawn. They are actually stamped onto a cut/embossed Spellbinders Labels Fourteen die cut. The light bulbs were stamped onto white paper, fussy cut out, then adhered onto the card stock. To finish off the card I added some fun polka dot ribbon, and tied a bow.
