where you should be..

Over the weekend we had beautiful weather, I really felt like Spring was here.  However, when I woke up this morning to pouring rain, I knew the weekend weather was just a tease.  Over on Moxie Fab, the Tuesday trigger is this fun collage, of colors you might see in the Spring.

I have this new stamp set from the Unity Stamp Co, called Where you are, that has oversized images of birdcages, birds, butterflies etc...  So when I saw today's trigger, I thought I could do a gradient technique with ink onto the butterfly.  I started with the yellow in the center, then added the orange and pink, and added the aqua blue last.  I did the same with the sentiment, except I only used two ink colors instead of four.  Isn't that sentiment perfect.
Today, my oldest is home sick.  This is the first time in probably 4 years that she has missed a day of school, I'm off to make her some chicken noodle soup and a cup of tea.
