The prizes look amazing!!
Anyhow, here is a card that I made for a call, and it was rejected. But I still think it is cute anyhow. We all get cards rejected, but that shouldn't stop us right?! Anyone who has ever applied for a design team or submitted cards has been rejected. It isn't a reflection on you or your work, it is just sometimes they are looking for something in particular, and you didn't fit. Maybe the card you sent in had a blue pattern but they were looking for a card with a red pattern.
Here are a few tips on submitting:
Submit your best work, not a thrown together card
Make sure the project is polished, no imperfections
Make sure your photograph is clear
Follow directions on the submission process (like really resizing your card)
Research the magazine you are submitting to, they all are different and take different styles.
Figure out your style, it took me a long time to figure that one out.
Anyhow, here is my card for today.
Basic Grey Green at Heart yummies with a little bit of Pink Paislee paper in the background.
The circles were cut an embossed using a Spellbinders classic circle Nestabilitie die and an impressability die.

That birdie is adorable.
Thanks for the insight for submitting, rejection is hard, but everyone encounters it in some form or other!
