2s4u: Fall
Happy Monday!! Did you all have a great weekend and WCMD? I had a wonderful weekend for sure. I made cards all day Saturday, and then on Sunday we took the kids to their first NFL game, all in all it was a perfect weekend. Anyhow, today there is a fun new sketch up over at 2sketches4you. The winner from my blog candy is posted over there as well as all the other blog hop winners. The sponsor this week, is Sakura of America, so if you didn't win anything this past week, you have another chance to win a great load of these pens. For my card below, I used both the Glaze and Souffle pens. Do you see that black border on the bottom? Yep I did that with one of the pens, it really shows up well over patterned paper. See the pink polka dots? I used the Sakura pens on those as well. Even with coloring in the dots, and the border, this card didn't take me very long to make (15 minutes max). Sakura pens are a nice alternative to add that little extra touch to your project. I can see myself using these a lot when I scrap book to doodle and to journal with. To see this weeks sketch, and the rest of the design's teams cards, head on over to the 2sketches4you blog!!
