Baby Shower Invitations
This card was is cased/inspired by Lauren Meader. I am making 16 of these for one of my neighbors. She is expecting a little girl, so when I saw Lauren's blog I new I wanted to make these into Baby Shower invitations {I asked Lauren first, she said yes >"<} I am moving very soon, so I wanted to give these to her as a gift before I leave. I finished 8 of them today, so tomorrow I will do the other eight. I will have to take a picture of the inside too, because they are adorable. The tutorial on how to make these is on Lauren's blog so make sure to go over and check it out. To make this card it helps alot if you have a circle punch, scallop punch & a score-pal or something similiar to score with. I used just regular white cardstock, Afternoon Tea dp by SU & stampers select aqua mist from PTI. The image is from a sale-a-bration set Birthday Whimsy by SU, stamped in aqua mist from PTI. The grosgrain ribbon is also aqua mist by Papertreyink & the eyelets are Making Memories. Its a fairly simple card to make, however there is alot of details which makes it into a long day if you are mass producing them, but the results are oh so fabulous. I packaged them in a Papertreyink clear card box, wrapped some ribbon around it & then used the monogrammed corners & borders with her {Jen's} initials in a circle. Tomorrow I will share what the inside of the card looks like and how I packaged them.
