Welcome to the first Summer of Essentials stamp set and blog hop! A very special stamp and die set was made for Ellen Hutson Essentials by Lawn Fawn. This set is exclusive to Ellen Hutson and can only be found and sold there. They are hoping to spread a little crafty sunshine with a month of new releases and a whole lotta' fun. Each week there will be a new Essentials by Ellen release and bunches of cardmaking inspiration.

By die cutting a circle onto a card front, it made a homemade stencil. I placed the diecut over the card base and gently inked a few different hues of blue to create a night sky.
The images were stamped onto Neenah paper with black ink, colored in with copic markers and then cut out with scissors. The sentiments were stamped in black ink and the music notes were stamped in coordinating blue ink. The images were adhered to the card using foam adhesive for extra depth. A double twine bow was added as an ambellishment.
