Lawn Fawn: Lovable Legends

Image
Hello there! Today I am sharing a card using the Lovable Legend stamp set from Lawn Fawn, as well as the rest of the LF designers.  Head on over to the Lawn Fawn Blog to check out all of the great projects using this set, as well as a chance to win todays products. These critter sets are so unbelievably fun to create with, plus I love to color and coloring a mythical creature like a Kraken is so cool. My husband is deployed right now, so I created this card with him in mind.  I'm going to place it in the next box of goodies I send to him. I have no idea what color a Kraken is, but it was fun to imagine, so I used an assortment of blue and green Copic markers.  I stamped the image, die cut it out, then colored it in.  I set it aside while i created a little bit of depth on the front of the card.  I created waves with two different inks, and stamped stars on the top as well.  Adhered the kraken die cut using foam adhesive and then embellished us...

You know how you plan out a card in your head, and sometimes it doesn't work out, but sometimes it turns out better than what was in your head?  This is todays card.  I love it when cards are easy to create.  The Lawn Fawn designers are showcasing the Just For You stamp set, and Just for You labels stamp set & coordinating dies.  If you click on over to the Lawn Fawn blog , all of the projects are all there in one spot, as well as you get a chance to win todays products! These two stamp sets and dies are amazing, you really need to go check out all of the projects that the designers did, because they are all so different, cool and used in really neat ways. Lawn Fawn: Little Bundle

Image
Hello there!  Yay its Friday!! The Lawn Fawn design team is starting the March Inspiration week and the stamp set we are showcasing today is the Little Bundle and coordinating dies sets. If you click on over to the Lawn Fawn blog , you will see all of the projects in one place, as well as getting the chance to win todays products. I don't know about you, but it seems like a lot of people I know are either pregnant or just having a baby lol.  So this stamp set is perfect timing for me and all of the baby cards I need to make.  To create the background on the pink card stock, i stamped the images using Versamark ink.  VersaMark is a watermark ink pad, which is really cool.  I paper pieced the little dress using the Lawn Fawn plaid pattern paper, and the sentiment is actually two different stamps, there is another stamp that says "baby boy" so this is a very versatile set.  It is for boys and girls.

Lawn Fawn: Rooting for You

Hello there!  Are you following along with the February Inspiration week from Lawn Fawn so far?  What do you think?  I am constantly amazed at the ideas that come out of that company.  Today I am sharing a card using the Rooting for You stamp set and coordinating die set.  What I love about this stamp set is that is has solid stamps! Head on over to the Lawn Fawn Blog for more great inspiration and for a chance to win this set! My card is a little clean and simple for you today.  I chose to use the color palette of red, orange and yellow.  I usually try to stick with 3 colors when I create a card...Oh I have green too (but not a lot more of an accent).  A card doesn't seem so overwhelming when you keep a color scheme simple.
