Here is my card for this weeks CPS sketch #210.  I was drawn to this beautiful pattern paper from Crate Paper, so I decided to use it.  The paper isn't that thick, but I love the way it embosses (using Spellbinders die templates).  Some pattern paper do not emboss well, so I was most impressed.   I was out of town this past week with my children at Walt Disney World.  So to say i am tired, is an understatement!  I am exhauseted!  I will try to do a fun Disney post in the next few days. For my projects today, I decided to make a fun tag & treat bag set, using the Birthday Pennants stamp set.  I see myself using this set over and over again.  I would buy the set for the sentiments alone, not to mention the cute pennants!!  I love it when I can use stamps that perfectly fit with my die templates...match made in heaven! I don't know about all of you, but I really love release weeks.  The designers do not share what they are making, so it is always a surprise to me too, to see all of the beautiful creations.   I am always left in awe, thinking, "why didn't I think of that?"  It is neat to see how I can guess who's projects are who's without seeing the name, it is a little game I play with myself lol.  That is the cool thing about design, everyone has a little piece of them into their projects, your own special sparkle, that only you have.  That is how I can see a card on a blog, or a magazine and know right away who made it.  The designers signature sparkle is coming through. Here is my card for CPS sketch# 209 . Today, I get to show a card using a super cute baby set called Plus One, from Lawn Fawn stamps.   I love making shaped cards,  It is nice to do something different every once in a while.   It is especially fun, making shaped cards using Spellbinders die templates.  For this card I used Grand Circles & Labels Seventeen, and some bakers twine to finish it off. We are onto day two of the Lawn Fawn Inspiration week.   Is is just me, or did the time change mess you up to?  It is amazing how losing an hour can affect us...by next week I should be acclimated to the new time.  As tired as I am now, I do enjoy having long summer days, those are quite nice. Today, I am showing you a fun card I made using the Critters in the Forest set from Lawn Fawn.  I did some masking on this card.  Masking, is a stamping technique, usually used to create a scene, or to add depth to your card.  Whatever image you want to appear closest to you, you will always want to stamp first, because it will not be covered/hidden from any other image.   Once my masking was done, I colored in the mushrooms & log with Copic markers, and stamped my sentiment.  The die is a Spellbinders Labels Eighteen die, and the pattern paper is new Cosmo Cricket, oh and the green Twinery bakers twine was the perfect embellishment.  Don't forge...

The next few days, the Lawn Fawn design team will be having an inspiration week.  We will be showcasing some of the latest stamp sets that were shown at CHA.  Today's feature is a stamp set called, Say Cheese.  It is so cute and out of the box.  Whether you are a stamper, card maker or scrapbooker, you will all love something about this set.   I decided to make a scrapbook page.  I know I don't show scrapbook pages all that often on my blog, but it was nice to make something other than a card.  See that little polaroid snapshot?  That is a stamp!  I just put a real picture inside of it..perfect right?
