Hello Sweet Stuff

Hello friends!
It is safe to say its summer, and everyone has the temperatures to prove it. I hope everyone is staying cool if you are able to.

Taylored Expressions has a small Mini Slim release today. The mini slim line is wildly popular. Its such a cute size of a card and so fun to create with. For this card, I started by stenciling ink onto the card base with a blender brush. Next, using the Thin Frame die and poblano cardstock, a few of the rectangle diecuts were adhered to the card base using glue. The sentiment was stamped in Oreo ink onto the card base. Then the images were stamped onto sugar cube cardstock, colored in with copic markers, cut out and adhered to the card base using foam adhesive. To finish, little black gems were adhered.
Look at those cute little fruit stamps?! Gah, so cute!!

Is there anything cuter than mythical creatures, especially in stamp form? I say no, no there is not. The Little Critters stamp set, now has a coordinating die set! Which are the perfect images to use when using the Window Cutting plates and coordinating window frame dies. After the square window panel was diecut, the wonky dot stencil, blender brushes and ink was used to create the inked background. The coordinating frames were used to create the frames in lime zest, and were adhered to the panel with glue. The largest size rectangle diecut was left from the previous card made, so it was adhered to the Cookie Monster card base and window panel was adhered to the card using foam adhesive. The little critters were stamped in Oreo ink, colored in with copic markers then diecut with coordinating dies. The critters were adhered to the card base inside each window with foam adhesive. To finish, the sentiment was stamped onto sugar cube cardstock, cut out with scissors then adhered to the card with foam adhesive for some depth.
These are such fun cards to create! If you have made a mini slim card, I would love to see it!
