Happy Cards

Hello friends!
I am having to do a few days of catch-up today, I thought I pre-scheduled my blog posts, but they never went live :(  Sometimes you win some, some times you lose some.  I was away at Walt Disney World with my son for 4 days and it was amazing. I am however sad, that the time I put into my blog posts is gone.  Oh well.

My first card was made using the Peekaboo backdrops as well as other Lawn Fawn dies, to create a clean and graphic card with no stamping.  A lot of crafters do not stamp, so I wanted to show how versatile this new back drop is.  I think it would be a lot of fun to create a scrapbook page using this die!

Next up, I have this watercolored card using the Happy Village stamp set.  I originally had the images die cut, but after I die cut them I realized it didn't look right with a white border around the die cuts.  So, I used scissors and trimmed as close to the stamped image as possible.  The images were popped up using foam adhesive.

Lastly, I have this fun watercolored background card with a bold sentiment.  The alien from Beam me Up kind of reminded me of a sick flu bug lol, so I thought is was perfect for a "feel better" card.

Head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog for more March Inspiration week as well as a chance to win a whole lot of new product!

Fabulous cards!! I love the rainbow frame with your colorful butterflies! The happy die is perfect!

Your watercolored village is lovely! I love the watercolor sky and grass. The houses look great!

I LOVE your get well card with that adorable alien! Your quilted background with the ink smooshings is perfect! It reminds me of a soft tissue. Such a great card! I agree the alien does resemble a sick flu bug. ;)
Absolutely stunning, love Jane x

I LOVE butterflies so that is, of course, my favorite one. I like how you used the rainbow patterned paper, also. I appreciate the watercoloring you did. What watercolor paper do you use, if you don't mind me asking?
