Little Chapel Ornament

Hello there!!
Today along with Julia & Teresa, we each made a project using the new Chapel die from the AGL line from Spellbinders.  This die set creates these super cute little churches, but if you wanted it to be a house you could just omit adding the steeple.

Please go visit Julia & Teresa's blogs as well, to see how they used this die set!!

So here is what my finished project looks like.  I made an ornament for my Christmas tree.  So fun!!

I die cut some Oh Deer! pattern paper from Fancy Pants Designs.  Then I used some of the metallic wax from Deco Arts, to add a little bit of a patina/aged look.  This was is super easy to use, you just wipe it on with a rag or a paper towel, and it dries fast as well.

To me, it seemed easier to add the wax on before it was completely assembled, than after.

You want to use a strong adhesive to adhere it all together.

To finish it off, I add glitter, tons and tons of glitter.

Materials Used:
Spellbinders Chapel die set (available CHA W 2015)
Fancy Pants Designs Oh Deer! Collection
Deco Arts Metallic Lustre Wax
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Permanent Dots
Beacon Adhesive Zip Dry
gold glitter
May Arts Ribbon gold

Here is what the complete die set looks like to complete this project.
