Lawn Fawn: Argyle Backdrops, Forest Border & Stitched Hillside Border

The Lawn Fawn Designers are showcasing projects using the Argyle Backdrops Stamp Set, Forest Border die, and the Stitched Hillside Border dies.  Head on over to the Lawn Fawn Blog, to see a ton of great projects, as well as a chance to win fun product!

My first card uses the Lawn Fawn Argyle Backdrops Stamp Set with the Forest Border die, on a Lawn Fawn Woodgrain Note Card.  The flair is from the Sweater Weather Collection.  The green ink was sponged onto the kraft card stock.  This took many, many layers of ink, since I wasn't working with white card stock.

My second card, I used the Argyle Stamp Set again.  I did a few different stamp techniques along with sponging on this card as well. I wanted to create diecuts using the Stitched Leaves die set, but once I cut them out, and went to put them on my card, they seemed a little plain.  So I decided to stamp the argyle background onto the leaf diecuts as well.  After I stamped the leaves, I sponged the edges, to give a little more definition to the leaves.

WOW! You really put the new items to use. I love how you combined the tree boarder die with the hillside dies. Very creative!
