There is just something that screams Christmas, when using the green/red color combination.  For my card today, it is all about joy & tradition.  I am trying desperately to get ahead on my Christmas cards, that I fail miserably at every. single. year.
I took one of the tag/panels from the Peace Joy Love pattern paper line, stamped onto it, and that was the start of my card.  The stamps are from the Ornate Ornaments stamp set, which have branches, ornaments, bows and all sorts of festive images, something that I thought would go well with the tag/panel.  I trimmed down some pattern paper, rounded the corners and adhered it to the card front (which also had rounded corners).  I felt like the card didn't need too many embellishments, so I added some twine, and red stickles to the red ink, on the joy sentiment.

Materials Used:
Lawn Fawn Peace Joy Love Collection Kit
Lawn Fawn Ornate Ornaments stamp set
Lawn Fawn Peppermint twine
Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L 3D foam squares
corner rounder
green card stock
red ink
green ink
red stickles

So simple (maybe) and so pretty. I'm going to have to try this one. Starting with that paper. Ooooh how I do love paper.
