Avocado Arts Thinking of You card
It is called Sunshine and Smiles.
Super cute right?
For the entire month of May, the Avocado Arts Design Team, also called the Pit Crew will be giving you daily doses of inspiration using this stamp set!
To stay up to date with all of the Avocado Arts happenings, be sure to follow them on their blog found here (they are also on Facebook and Twitter.
I started out my stamping the swirly little buzzy thing, then stamped the bee's around it. It gives the card some movement. Then I stamped the grass, which is a solid image stamp. Then cut it out, and popped it up on the card using foam tape. The boots, are a lined image stamp. Meaning you can paper piece the image or color it in with your favorite coloring medium. I used Copic markers to color in the boots (R27, R29, R45 & B00). After they were colored in, again I cut them out and adhered them to the card using foam tape. Once the images were all adhered, I stamped the "thinking of you" sentiment three times, and added a scalloped red border to the side of the card.
**Tips**
If you are making a clean card, but it seems flat. Try popping up one of your elements with foam tape. It will give it a nice dimension.
I also find, that rounding a corner or corners, help to soften the look of a card as well.
