Weekend projects

Here are a few projects that I have made over the last few days.
Just for fun stuff, nothing for any design teams, just me being crafty.

First up is a Christmas card (yes Christmas), it is actually for a twitter craft challenge that Teri threw down.  To use 23 embellishments on your card.  I wasn't too creative with my embellishments, I just created a border with some bling.  Well I guess, if you throw in that the bling was clear, but I wanted them to be red, so I dyed them with a copic marker, then that is a little creative right?  The pattern paper and woolie are from the new Basic Grey Christmas line.  That cute little mitten is actually from the Nested Mittens set from Spellbinders, and the stamp is from Waltzingmouse stamps.

Next up is a layout of my daughter.
She is growing up so fast, or maybe I am just starting to realize college is closer than I think.  In just 4 short years she will be off.  Kind of crazy and sad all at the same time, this momma is not ready for that yet.  I am trying to keep up with her album now, while the memories are fresh in my mind,  it is just easier that way (for me).  This is a picture of her from this summer.
Stamps are from Technique Tuesday & Unity
Pattern Paper is from Kaiser Craft
Twine is from Jillibean Soup

Cute stuff, Tisha!
I especially dig the card. It totally does not look like 23 embellies are on it. I think that is what I love the most about what everyone did. I was expecting to see embelllie madness. Everything has been done in such a way where it doesn't seem like there are so many.
Wonderful layout - your DD is beautiful!! I love the dots, the bakers twine, the "crumpled" journaling tag and the "be you" is my favorite always to add to projects that involve my own DD. ;-)

Great work!
Hugs!
