Card Style Mystery Blog Hop

Welcome to the Card Style Mystery Blog Hop

(do you have a copy? no? click here to get your own)
It is a super sweet issue :)

Do you know your card style?
There is a short quiz at the beginning of this issue, that will help answer that question.  Not only that, but the issue is separated into four sections, Fun & Cute, Clean & Graphic, Classy & Elegant, and Shabby Chic & Vintage.  How fun is that?  Flipping through the pages you can really see each style is so distinctive.

My go to card style, is Classy and Elegant.  I love ribbon, but my most favorite kind to use is satin.  Putting satin ribbon on a card with a few pearls, for me, is perfection.  Adding an embellishment like ribbon to a card, helps me achieve a nice balance.  A great classy & elegant card is very well balanced, and will flow.  Meaning, your eye will automatically know where to look next.  On an unbalanced card, your eyes kind of go all over the place, and cannot find a place to sit, so to speak.
While working on this issue, I also discovered that there is a fine line between styles.  Adding a button, twine or a stick pin can turn your classy & elegant card into a fierce shabby chic card.  Or using a bubbly fun font, on your sentiment will turn your clean & graphic card into something fun and cute.
Here is a never been seen card, that I made especially for this blog hop.
A Classy and Elegant thinking of you card.

Materials used:
Waltzingmouse Stamps
Spellbinders S4-290 Labels Fourteen
Watercolor paper
Palette ink
May Arts satin ribbon
Kaiser Craft pearls
foam tape
corner rounder

There are 20 stops on this mystery blog hop.
That means 20 chances to win a fabulous prize worth $350!!
To check out the prize, head on over to the Paper Crafts Connection & Moxie Fab World.

I would love to know, what is your go to style? Also, what is your favorite kind of card to make?

I've never stopped to analyze my card "style." It just IS. Probably more the shabby chic than any of the others, though.

As for a favorite kind of card to make, I think that would have to be anything with flowers and the color blue on it.
