Card Style Mystery Blog Hop
Welcome to the Card Style Mystery Blog Hop
It is a super sweet issue :)
Do you know your card style?
There is a short quiz at the beginning of this issue, that will help answer that question. Not only that, but the issue is separated into four sections, Fun & Cute, Clean & Graphic, Classy & Elegant, and Shabby Chic & Vintage. How fun is that? Flipping through the pages you can really see each style is so distinctive.
My go to card style, is Classy and Elegant. I love ribbon, but my most favorite kind to use is satin. Putting satin ribbon on a card with a few pearls, for me, is perfection. Adding an embellishment like ribbon to a card, helps me achieve a nice balance. A great classy & elegant card is very well balanced, and will flow. Meaning, your eye will automatically know where to look next. On an unbalanced card, your eyes kind of go all over the place, and cannot find a place to sit, so to speak.
While working on this issue, I also discovered that there is a fine line between styles. Adding a button, twine or a stick pin can turn your classy & elegant card into a fierce shabby chic card. Or using a bubbly fun font, on your sentiment will turn your clean & graphic card into something fun and cute.
Here is a never been seen card, that I made especially for this blog hop.
A Classy and Elegant thinking of you card.

I don't think I have a go-to style, except that I do love to include silk flowers and buttons.
my favorite card to make? friendship cards, I guess. "Just because" types. That way, I can do anything I want!
Second, I'm a clean and graphic kind of girl.
My go to style changes according to the card recipient. I like to tailor my cards to the style of the person receiving it. However, my favorite style is probably clean and graphic.
Favorite card to make...is birthday cards! I always need birthday cards.
As for a favorite kind of card to make, I think that would have to be anything with flowers and the color blue on it.
Love this creation of yours!
The cards I like and would like to receive are shabby and layered.
My favorite kinds of cards to make are for birthdays - they're just the most festive and fun occasion!
I'm usually a mix between shabby vintage and classy elegant!
My favorite cards to make are ones where the colors pop, or I am trying a new technique that actually works, or cards where I've made my own embellishments!
i dnt know what kind of card-making style i have, maybe freestyle :D heehee but i tend to navigate using these elements - flowers, ribbons, colorful papers, doodling, sewing, distressing, layers... see?? a little of everything :D lol! but nope...definitely NOT clean :D hehe
