June Release Day #3: Patriotism on Parade

We know many see the Fourth of July as a day of celebration to honor the United State's independence. But, as many military men and women will tell you - Freedom is not free. In times of war, soldiers come home wounded and are in need of a hand up in life. Having deep ties to our country's military, Flourishes wanted to be a part of the solution. We are proudly donating a portion of the proceeds of our brand new Patriotism on Parade set to the Wounded Warrior Project. It's a not for profit, who's mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors. We believe in the work they do and we can't wait to support this group's amazing efforts. Please click on www.woundedwarriorproject.org to learn more.  With my own husband being in the military, it really warms my soul to know there are such great organizations, like this one, who really make a difference.

Here is a layout, from when we toured the US Coast Guard Tall Ship called the Eagle, I used the new Patriotism on Parade stamp set.  This set is so versatile, I have made cards with it, to little tags that will go on decorated blue and white tins for 4th of July, to this scrap book page.  I know some of you struggle with scrap booking, but its really fun, just think of it as a big card that you will get to keep forever.
For your chance at a one day only blog candy to win this set, head on over to the Flourishes Newsletter.  You will also find more information about the Flourishes Power Hour Release, later on tonight.

Very cool use of the Patriotic set by Flourishes. The page You have created with it from a day in your lives would make anyone feeL so proud To be an American and so proud of our miLiTary men and women and the families they must all leave at home when duty calls. Use of the nauTicaL symboLs on The page is awesome and inspiring, like indicating patriotism is about caring for our world!

Thanks
