Go To Gals and Friends Blog Hop

Have you seen this baby yet?
Awesome, awesome special issue!
66 sketches, tons of inspiration, not to mention beautifully photographed.
Can be bought here.

The super sweet, Kim Kesti asked me to join her in a fun Go-To Gals, and friends blog hop.
How fun is that?
Each of the Go To Gals invited 5 friends.
Today you will see 36 never been seen before cards, using their sketches.
I was to use this sketch, for my card today.
You may have seen it in the book, it is on pg. 96.
Here is my card.
Yummy Bloomers from Websters Pages, embossed white card stock using the butterflies impressabilies from Spellbinders & the Girls Paperie pattern paper, the stamp is from The Unity Stamp Co.

Make sure you visit Kim and the rest of the designers using this sketch.  At Kim's blog, she will link you to the other Go-To Gals.

Do you use sketches?
How to you get started on a project?
Leave a comment for your chance to win your very own copy of this amazing issue!!

I love sketches, I save the best ones, that make my heart flutter, on my computer.... but the truth is, I rarely ever use them. Maybe... once a year when I remember!

I haven't used sketches yet... usually the need for a card comes first -then I go to all of the ideas I have saved and go from there. I keep my ideas on my computer and in binders, and my head is full of them!

I'm a novice in this stamping world, so I usually start with a card that has inspired me in some way - whether it be layout, color, sentiment - and go from there. My end product rarely looks anything like its inspiration.

Great combo of the embossing and the flowers.

I love to start with sketches. I need to work on building my creativity a bit and use the sketches more as a jumping off point than a copy machine.

I'm in love with your flowers - very beautiful. I haven't used sketches before, but after hopping around and seeing how fun it is to interpret a sketch, I'm definitely going to have to have this publication in my "go to" library for inspiration. Thanks for the chance to win!
