For those of you who may be new to Lawn Fawn Stamp Company.  This year they started to make dies, that coordinate with some of the stamp sets as well as stand alone shapes too.  Today, I am sharing a shaped card created using the Scalloped and Stacked circle dies, along with the bannerific die. Lawn Fawn: Quinn's Capitals

Image
Quinn's ABC's is one of my most loved alphabet stamp sets from Lawn Fawn.  So when I was sent Quinn's Capitals, I was very happy.  Quinn's Capitals is the coordinating stamp set, to Quinn's ABC's, with the alphabet all in capitals.  Both sets can be used alone, or together. Head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog , for a chance to win this new stamp set, as well as to check out more projects using this set. For my card today, I created a fun sentiment with the Quinn's Capitals set (and added a few other sentiments as well).  I stamped the alphas in an aqua colored ink, and then colored in the letters using bg11 & bg15 Copic markers.  To embellish, I rounded the bottom corners of the card, an added sequins, and natural Lawn Trimmings. Lawn Fawn: Gnome Sweet Gnome Lawn Cuts

Image
What isn't to love when a stamp company makes coordinating dies to match their stamp sets.  I get this giddy childlike feeling, when that happens.  To explain it in food terms, it is like peanut butter & jelly...they just go together so perfectly. Over on the Lawn Fawn Blog , there are several projects being shared today.  That showcase some of the older stamp sets, that now have coordinating dies to match.  Make sure to leave a comment when you visit, for a chance to win today's Lawn Cuts. Today, I am sharing a cute little card using the Lawn Fawn stamp set called Gnome Sweet Gnome, using the mushroom die from the coordinating Gnome Sweet Gnome Lawn Cut set. Instructions: 1.  Stamp grass in green ink.  Stamp flower stems in green in as well. 2.  Stamp sentiment in black ink underneath the grass. 3.  Stamp flowers in red ink. 4.  With white card stock, die cut the mushroom using your favorite die cutting machine. 5.  St...

Lawn Fawn: Happy 4th!

Image
I don't know about you, but it is starting to feel like summer to me.  The muggy heat, afternoon thunderstorms, smelling bbq when I walk through my neighborhood at night, and for some reason the smell of fresh cut lawn, reminds me of watermelon.  My children just finished up their 6th & 11th grades of school, so staying up late and sleeping in are the new routine. Summer is my favorite!  So I am going to soak up every minute of the next 9 weeks before they go back to school. Speaking of summer, and the newness of the season.  Today starts the June Inspiration Week over at Lawn Fawn.  The Designers are showing projects today, using the new set called Happy 4th.  It is a 4 x 3 stamp set that can be used for any celebration, including 4th of July.  Head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog to check out all of the great projects, and comment for a chance to win this stamp set! Using red and blu ink, I created a patriotic background, using several of the...
