As we enter a new year and decade, I pray that all of you are restored with a bounty of blessings. That your hearts are filled with kindness, forgiveness, and brought peace to heal from sadness. We are all more alike than different, especially with our ability to love.  The biggest lesson I learned this year is that its okay to be vulnerable. To be my truest self, I cannot let people in, if I have walls up. So I brought that wall down brick by brick, and it was hard. Lots of tears were shed. Here are a few projects that I created for Foundations and Decor. Some fun tags, and an ornament picture holder! I am kind of obsessed with the fuzzy yarn that I used on the tags, it made them extra cozy! I painted the wood parts of the ornament, and then decorated it with diecuts before adding a picture of my son when he was younger. 

I have been the worst blogger and I apologize. 2019 has been a very hard year for me and my family. But I still love sharing my projects with all of you! Here are a few projects using the Valentines release from Lawn Fawn . For this first card, I diecut the stitched hearts that just made an impression onto the cardstock. Then very carefully adding ink to each heart and stamping a butterfly in the same ink. I diecut white cardstock with the "friends" die and finished by adding twine. This was such a fun card to make. I gathered a bunch of pink/red inks and then stamped the heart in the different colors, leaving room for a sentiment, stamped in black. A true one layer card. For me coloring is so relaxing, and on this card I was able to watercolor and use copic markers to create a vibrant puffer card. Does white on white or in this case cream on cream ever go out of style? No, no it does not. 

 Last month I was in Kansas with a bunch of crafty friends, and I was able to complete a few cards for this Lawn Fawn Inspiration week!  Up first is a row of Winter Narwhals.  They each were stamped using the River Rock ink, and then colored in with colored pencils and gamsol.  The panel was blended using Distress Oxide inks, and then splattered with gold Kuretake watercolors. Each narwhal was adhered using foam adhesive. A double knotted twine bow was added for embellishment. Up next is the Sugar Cookie add-on stamp set. Each cookie was stamped in the new Sugar Cookie ink, then colored in using Daniel Smith Watercolors.  Glossy accents was placed on each cookie, then once dry hand cut. Glitter was added to the edges of the cookies to give them a vintage old timey feel. Head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog to see more wonderful projects using these super cute sets!
