Fairy Winter

Image
Hello friends! The card I am sharing today, is a little more in depth, but I know you are capable of following along :)  This is a shaped card using the Stitched Scalloped Rectangles from Lawn Fawn.  There is a rectangle stitching on the outside of the scalloped cut line, and on the inside.  Only when you cut more than one die together, will you see both stitched lines. 1.  Lay two stitched scalloped rectangle dies, onto white card stock. Run through a die cutting machine.  You will use the outside frame. Apply foam adhesive on the inside of the frame and set aside. 2.  Die cut 2 large die cuts using the larger die with pattern paper. 3.  Place the white frame die cut over one of the pattern paper die cuts.  This will be the front of the card. 4.  Adhere the other pattern paper to the card, by scoring one inch down from the top, putting adhesive above the score line and adhering to the front of the card. 5.  Stamp fairy...

Halloween Gift Boxes

Image
Hello friends! How is it the middle of September?  I saw someone the other day talking about only around 100-ish days until Christmas.  I was silently thinking, I just need to get through hurricane season lol.  Anyhow, Lawn Fawn has this cute little die called the Tiny Gift Box. You can create the boxes using pattern paper, or plain cardstock, whatever your preference is.  I die cut white cardstock, and then stamped images onto the die cut before adhering the box together. I enjoy customizing projects, especially for seasons.  Head on over to the Lawn Fawn blog , to see all of the wonderful projects using this die set! 1. Die cut white card stock using the tiny gift box die. 2. Stamp images onto the die cut 3. Color in the images. 4. Adhere the box together using a strong adhesive. 5. Tie twine bow, adhere to the box. Tip Before stamping onto the die cut, figure out what is the front, the top, the sides and bottom...this will help y...

Seasons Greetings

Image
Today I am sharing a fun card perfect for the Holidays, which means one less Christmas card that I need to make! I used the Home For the Holidays mini stamp set paired with the Tiny Towns border, both from Lawn Fawn, to create this card.  I die cut plaid christmas paper with the border die, and then inked the top edges to make the houses pop.  Before I adhered the border down, I stamped the trees in a selection on Lawn Fawn green inks.  The car was colored in using copic markers, and I used twine to wrap around the tree to have it look like the tree was tied down to the car. Perfectly Plaid Winter

I have no idea when my obsession with plaid started, but if I had to guess it was early 80's?  I love plaid shirts, plaid pants, skirts etc...so when Lawn Fawn started making plaid paper, my mind exploded.  Plaid + paper crafting = me very happy!! Today I am sharing a fun treat bag that I decorated using the Plaid Winter 6x6 paper, stamps and dies. This years winter release from Lawn Fawn is ridiculous, and I mean that in the best possible way.  From 3 plaid collections, stamps, dies and inks I am in crafty heaven!! Lawn Fawn: Winter Scripty Saying & Scalloped Rectangles Stackables

Image
Hello there! Today is the start of the October inspiration week for Lawn Fawn.  Today, I am sharing a card using the latest stamp set called Winter Scripty Sayings with the Scalloped Rectangle dies. Can you believe that it is mid October already?  Before I know it the holidays will be fast approaching...and I am not ready!  The card I am sharing today, is pretty simple to execute but it has some fun techniques that makes it not so clean and simple.  The great thing about this stamp set are all of the great sentiments!  Since I am making a Christmas card, I settled on the "season's greetings" sentiment. Instructions: 1.  Die cut white cardstock, using a scalloped rectangle die. 2.  At a diagonal apply a strip of washi tape across the diecut. 3.  Using a sponge tool and red ink.  Apply red ink below the washi tape. 4.  Using a darker red ink, stamp the season's greeting sentiment repeatedly to create a fun background...
